Boat Rental Policies

1. Upon Booking, we require the amount paid in full.
2. Who may rent a boat: A boat may be rented by anyone 21 years of age, has a current valid driver’s license, and has a valid credit card that will be kept for the duration of the rental (no debit cards)
3. A debit card can be used for initial payment, but not for security of the rental on that day of said rental (damages, incidentals, etc. credit card only day of rental)
4. Rental times: Minimum times boats can be rented is 4hrs / 8hrs. (10am-2pm, 2:30pm-6:30pm, or all day 10am-6pm
5. Life Jackets: Standard (up to XXL), Adult, coast guard approved are provided. If you have an infant, or small youth, we have a few, but recommend bringing your own.
6. Are pets allowed: No pets of any kind are allowed on the boats. (including support animals)
7. Is Fishing allowed: There is no fishing or fishing equipment allowed on the boats.
8. Grilling: no grilling or grills are allowed on the boats
9. Boat Capacity: all boats have a legal weight capacity; this will not be exceeded at any time. Everyone on board must have a coast guard approved life jacket before leaving the marina.
10. Where do you fuel the boat: Fueling is done at the marina, You are not permitted to bring your own fuel or fuel anywhere else.
11. What if I need to Cancel my reservation: contact the marina office, if reservation is cancelled 96hrs before, full credit minus 40%, 48hrs before, full credit minus 50%, under 48hrs including the day of rental no credit is given. “No Show” will be charged full price of rental.
12. Inclement weather day of rental: If there are storms (High winds, Lightening) at the time of your rental and “We” cancel your outing, you will be provided the option of a refund or credit. If there is inclement weather during your outing, and we call you back to the marina and cancel your outing, you will be provided a partial refund of unused time.
13. What if I’m late for my rental: If you are 30 minutes late for your reservation, and we have not heard from you, your reservation will be cancelled. If you are running late and you contact us (at the marina to make us aware, no problem, we will hold your reservation. However, you will not be allowed additional time to your reservation. For example, your reservation is from 10 to 2 and you don’t arrive until 11, the boat is still due back by 2pm.
14. What if I’m late returning the Boat: If you are late returning the boat, you will be charged $50 for every 15 minutes you are late, there are no exception so please plan accordingly.
15. Am I responsible for the cleaning of the boat: The boat is provided to you clean and you are required to return it as such (all trash picked up and removed). If it is returned dirty and requires additional cleaning, you will be charged $30 cleaning fee, if it is returned “TRASHED”, there will be a $100 cleaning fee.
16. Overnight rentals: No overnight rentals allowed.
17. Fuel: You are responsible for the cost of the fuel at the end of your rental.
18. Reservations: The person making the reservation must be PRESENT and any additional drivers must also have a valid driver’s license.
19. Damages: all damage is the responsibility of the lessee renting the vessel. Any damage by the lessee that results in the boat being out of service for any period of time, will be the responsibility of the lessee. This means that, the lessee is responsible for any lost revenue to the marina, will be the Lessee’s responsibility until the boat is repaired and back in service.
